Back of the lot at the bus station is a FAR better meeting place than the circle. Original post actually has to be updated with useful information if this is really going to be organized. It's a long ride down this year so the group will probably get more broken up than previous years. IMO meeting up in Burlington is way too far out of the way for the Portsmouth gang - we'll all be traveling 495..

I'll be at WBM, but DJing again this year, not yet sure about the caravan.

Ok I think our plan is to meet up over at the Park and Ride at Pease Tradeport (a.k.a. The Bus Stop, CJ Buses...). The meet opens at 9am down at Wachusett Mountain, takes about an hour and a half to get there so I figure we leave no later then 7:30am.

I have a radar detector and a motorola talkabout radio. I will volunteer to be a trail car because I don't have a nav system.

Ok, I'm officially starting a list of who plans to go to WBM as well as who plans to caravan down.

I plan to go from the Park and Ride at Portsmouth off of I-95 to the meet. I don't have a nav unit however I plan to bring directions. If someone has a nav unit (*cough* Bu11Dogg2 *cough* lol) and would like to lead then please speak up.

Time to meet up at the park and ride is between 7am and 7:15am. Leaving no later then 7:20am. I suggest having a set of directions on hand just in case. Other helpful items would be a handheld radio and snacks/drinks for the ride. Cameras and Video Cameras are also handy.

*******BE AWARE THAT IF ANY SHENANIGANS (see the VW caravan thread) OCCURTHAT I WILL DROP OUT OF THE CARAVAN (even if I'm leading it) AND DRIVE ON MY OWN*******

I started to claybar and wax. I realized that my paint is still new enough tha the claybar doesn't make that much of a difference, plus the water here has REALLY bad minerals in it, so even though I dried the hell out of it it still has water spots and all I'm doing is waxing them in.....

Please have enough gas to get there on the way down at least. Stopping a Caravan is a pain in the ***.

Have money for the Hampton tolls. Also, when we go through the tolls, stay in line. I know some of us have EZ-Pass and can zip right though, (myself included), We don't need to start a pile-up because we are all trying to merge back into line. Besides imagine the look on the toll collectors face when they see 15+ Subarus in a row.

Several of us have the two way radios and there will be some extras. They are invaluable for keeping in touch. Mine is about 5 years old and still has decent range. More expensive ones will have better range, plus they have the subchannels.
