It sure wasn't. The 1st & 2nd gen Yamaha V6 cars were great. M5-inspired on the cheap. But then came the automatics, and the ovoid third gen, and the V8. That killed it.

The upcoming Taurus looks nice, but it's too much. It looks built to 11/10 scale, and the beltline is in the stratosphere. 350hp is pointless. I'd probably still take one over the new Maxima, though.
