Quick question, I did an 04 cluster swap a couple of months ago and soon after (as in as soon as I fired it up) my ABS light came on. Is their any wiring differences between the 02 and 04 clusters? I havent yet swapped back the 02 cluster to verify, but I was just wondering why I have ABS, but the light is lit.

TIA

Thats what I thought as well, but it worked great yesterday when I was sliding all over the place.

If you can, check the ABS sensors on each wheel, one might be off. It wouldn't disable the system completely if it was. Snow can be a ***** and **** that **** up. Or it could just be quite simply that the sensor wheels are clogged with snow.

Will do, but just an FYI, the cluster swap/symptom was done in October...

Anybody have the ohm specs for the wheel sensors?

Found a thread on it over on nasioc.

LOL, just two...

But the centered tach is almost worth it! Plus the red needles and silver trim match my Mad Dad gauges.

Isn't your expertise in turning my Airbag light on?

Heh, not really. Just a couple of hmmm, didnt expect that to happens...

The ABS light is most likely due to the 04 cluster.

not really sure how the cluster could cause it....

Wiring differences? I know there was a change in them somewhere along the lines just from some old research I did. Swapping clusters into 06+ WRX you have to rewire a few things.

Supposedly its a grounding issue somewhere.
