View Full Version : Stock ride height..?

Just wondering whats the stock ride height for a 02 WRX.

For those who know my car (it was Mad Dad's rolling show room). its got coil overs and 17" Enkei's with 225/45-17 Conti's. I just measured all 4 corners and this is what I got. These are measured from concrete to fender lip.

Front Right - 25.5"
Rear Right - 25"

Left Front - 25"
Left Rear - 24.25"

Anyways, just trying to get some clearance for teh winter as I already lost a Rally Armor mudflap yesterday. Anybody got any info? I searched nasioc and got about a million slammed Subi threads.

If it was me I would swtich out the coils for stock struts and springs for the winter.
other then that I would just raise it up to were you want and not worry about the stock wrx ride height.

Thanks, I was just asking for a base line anywho. Also, I might to a bit of a rear high stance, kinda like the STi's.

Wow cant believe you ripped off a rally armor mud flap...wow I have them and I would have thought it would take the wheel well/bumper with it lol...your lucky ive heard horror storries like that happening!!

That would seem like such a pain having to change out the suspension every winter and spring

Stock ground clearance is about 6"

Also you will find the answer here. That is what I would read for my answer.

I was fairly close on what I said to you the other day. Stock Wheel arch height is 15.59" That is measured from the center of the knuckle. Or center of the wheel. So go with 14.5" if you coils can go that high.
