I know of the guys that head to SCCNH events, but who else has autocrossed? Anyone interested in trying it out a time or two this coming season?

Yah, I want to give it a shot this summer... I like humbling experiences.

It wont humble you. It could be frustrating at first if you think of it like that but with all the people around to help I doubt it will humble you.
Just remember that you can't go fast if you don't push the car.

Pushing the car to its cornering limits on a closed course is a great way to learn to drive it better. I've learned a lot just from watching, and after participating in 7 events.

i prefer pushing the car past its limits, its way more fun!

You mean like when you do a 180 into the stop box? But yeah, going past is fun too. Its just nice to have a safe place to do it.

Let me rephrase. DON'T GET ANOTHER SET OF KDW'S!
Rob needs race rubber or as close to race rubber as he can get. Like maybe some used RE070's.
If I come up with the cash somewhere that is what I want to get. Finally get some race rubber.
Rob, did you get another set of KDW's?

i want to get another set of kdws. but im leaning more towards the Dunlop Z1's. Cheaper for larger tire, im going to try and get a package deal on Rota SVN's with 245's but i need to roll my fenders along with widening the tops of the wells.

Mike just got a set of RE070s. I was going to get R comps for next year but I wont have the loot for them. Going to get another set of RT615s in 245 or 255

dzkwrx, don't worry about the automatic. its a good time to go out and play.
I8UR911, your car kicks ass. I'd like to see how it does on an autocross course.

Love the pic with the store! I know Russ from SCCV, hes got the Cobra Kit car, thing is silly nice. I also met a guy with a Red Integra, who is a great driver. His name is escaping me at the moment though. They have been both running with us at sccnh last yhear and a bit the year before.

Bad ass. Love the Fiat.
The Buggy looks awesome too. The STI wing just compliments the look of it really nicely.

Thanks, I'll be painting the side skirts in the spring. That'll give it a nice clean flow.

I know Russ, and I think Josh. Russ is a great guy and the F5 Cobra is wicked fast and corners great. If I remember right, Josh blew up his Integra a while ago. Not sure of the status.

Well the last time I saw Josh last fall he had the car put to bed for winter. I believe everything was running correctly. Like Terry said, that guy can drive that car. It was great watching him drift the saturn in the last auto-x for sccnh.
