Copied and pasted from this (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1593407) thread. Figured I'd share the info.
I can't justify spending the large amounts of cash on prefabbed setups so I researched a little and embarked on my own.
It came out pretty decent, the hood closes normally, and stays up well. Here's the parts list via McMaster-Carr (hella awesome shipping....next day at your door shipping)....
2x 40lb M6 18.22 gas # 9416K18 (http://javascript%3cb%3e%3c/b%3E:TargetLink%28%27TR58%27,%27tr%27,%27PT581%27, %279416K18%27%29;) ($14.24 x 2)
2x M6 10mm nylon std ends # 9416k86 ($1.29 x 2)
2x M6 10mm steel std ends # 9416k74 ($2 x 2)
2x 10mm zinc plated ball stud bracket #9512k95 ($1.94 x 2) fender side brackets
1x 10mm zinc plated ball stud bracket #9512k96 ($1.95) hood side
1x 10mm zinc plated ball stud bracket #9512k97 ($1.95) hood side
grand total $42.84 + shipping (not too much)

**the last 2 brackets (hood side) must be bent to conform to the inside edge of the hood, luckily they are thin and can be done with pliers w/o heat. The other option, $10+ shipping you can get hood side brackets and hardware from redline....I'd actually go this route should I try again.
The process requires general test fitting, measuring, but its pretty easy if you copy the Tein or Redline setuphttp://www.misubie.com/forum/images/smilies/new/lildevil.gif
I'm pleased with them:D
