Ok just like it sounds heres what happened
back in june the GF crashed my car. Swerved to avoil a deer and hit a post and spun the car backwards off the road.
since then in low traction situations my car shimmys left and right while under part or no throttle. the worse the road the worse it dose it. last night there was a definate smell of gear oil.
heres what I have done
snow tires....artic claw 205-60-15 just mounted and blaanced psi checked once a week
snow rims.....black steelies
alignment 3 times since accadent once after once when i tightened rear sway bar once after changing sway bar bushings and endlinks....whiteline all 24mm bar stout mounts and endlinks
new inner and outer tierod pass side... according to the hack shop thad did the work on my car this was the exteny of the mechanical damage to my car...of course now the paint is 2 different shades of red and the week after the repairs I stopped by to find out about the coulr difference and they shut down
WHAT CHOO THINK?

speaking as the car totalling gf, soooo not my fault. Personally I think this was a shady garage. Lots of other involvments with this place not listed, they just didnt seem to communicate or do anything that didnt involve the appearance of the car... and lemme just say, the car was jacked up. They really should have totalled it. re-iterate..it was a REALLY big deer on a 45 degree corner... and the cop said if I hadnt have hit the guard post, the car would have launched off the incline and and I would have impacted the telephone pole about ten feet from the ground and died... lol so erm.... yeah bad garage work...hell the place had a hand written sign on the door that read "closed due to x wife" everyone in town we both spoke to said this place was expensive and did shody work, but the insurance company said to go there...now he still has problems...and yes im a lil freaked to drive his car again...sue me...

Bump! What did you end up doing? What place did you take it to that went out of business?
When I got rear ended in my other car the paying insurance company tried to force me into going to a certain body shop. I fought them for 2 weeks to go with my choice of body shop. And I couldn't be happier now.

That's the place on the way to newport right? They usually have a corvette sitting out front in the summer.
For all of my body work I go to Mitchell's auto body in Springfield, VT. He does amazing work.
Glad to hear its running well now. Do you by any chance work at Subaru of Claremont? I think I saw your car there a few weeks back.
