Ok, so who here has any idea how I can mount my WRX steering wheel in my 94 impreza. I have the clock wheel and all from the wrx, but i dont think its necessary.
The wheel may need some metal trimmed to fit over the wires coming out of the clock wheel, i don't know. Also, and I believe this to be the main issue, id the 94 plug is 2 wire, and the wrx is 3 wire.
James from ECS was going to help me, but moved to London, now I'm F'ed in the A as to how to get it on. Anyone smart enough to help me?

I aint too smart but I'd like to help out somehow. I'm buying an sti wheel so you can help me figure out how to mount a quick release to it in return:)

I'm no genius but don't quick releases take out the clockwheel? Which you would need in an OBD-II car to have a working horn, and more importantly, a working airbag. So, your airbag lite would be on and... instant fail.

not sure if im correct though.

well, yes but I'm building a track car now so I'll have to void all those rules and make my own

not on OBD2 cars. for me, it would work, but not for justin. Shouldn't an STi wheel just bolt on to an 04 WRX without any modification? and we are getting OT, this is supposed to be about me, me, ME, MEEEE!!!!

somewhat, it seems everyone just deals with the stock wheel, but I hate it. if it was 97 up I wouldn't have a problem, dammit.

uh, no. No matter how much work it is to get this steering wheel on, and the shift linkages I want, and a rear sway bar mounted, it's less work than getting a swapped OBD-II car to pass emissions, which I no longer have to do.

only if u go crazy modifying the engine, dump fuel like crazy into engine, and remove all emissions controls... if u swap all the electronics and ****, i wouldn't see a problem.. although i do agree pre-obd2 is better for swaps in general.

Get out of the Honda world my friend... Swapped OBD-II Subarus are easy unless you go JDM STi. Even then, you can tune a USDM ECU to work with it. Hell, I could remove my cats, EGR system and TGVs and still pass if I really wanted to.

It's actually going to go in the Legacy when I find the airbag portion of it. I've decided I want to put my favorite steering wheel of all time into the wagon, if I can find one/affod one, lol.

Nothing near as exotic, but ever since I saw it in eurotuner on the owner of eurosports mk2 gti I've wanted a momo mod 2. That was years and years ago, but its always been in the back of my mind.
