They were having a problem with people from maine not being able to get on to nasioc. I thought the problem went away a couple weeks ago when someone posted a thread there that was titled "welcome back mainers." But i guess the problem is still around. Someon should email Nick, the creator of nasioc and let him know that you guys are still having problems.

Nasioc doesn't work from my dads house and he has Metrocast....
I suspect an ISP problem somewhere.

Now here's my big question. If we have to email the creator of NASIOC to fix the problem, then how do we get his email address when we cant get on the website.~shocked~

Won't work at my dads house either. Lives in Guilford, NH with Metrocast.

Well, it must be a problem with metrocast, cause it works in laconia on my parents non metrocast DSL line at the garage. This is pissing me off, I have to go to the garage and get put to work to check the classifieds.

This makes me suspect a physical network issue even more since now this is
three providers, most likely all travelling through the same hop, that can't
get through.

Can you run a tracert to www.nasioc.com (http://www.nasioc.com) from both work and home and send me
the results. Don't worry neither will hit the final destination since it's
blocked either way, but it will show up the network path it's taking. Also
urge other people who are having access problems to do the same. This way
we can narrow down the problem to a specific server.

Sadly it's still not something I'll be able to fix but moreso ammo for you
guys to goto your providers to yell at them about this. I wish I could do
more, but the providers have no legal obligation to myself, but as paying
customers they do to you. However since it's a collection of ISPs I'm
pretty confidant it's a network issue north of Mass and most parts of NH.

So have you done that? Does that mean we should just ***** out or providers and tell them that we are not able to access certain web pages? Fill me in!

I did a tracert and found where I wasn't being routed. I emailed metrocast and they did nothing. I will be calling them this weekend to complain. I suggest everyone who is having this problem call this weekend. Maybe if they realize there is a big demand for it, they will fix the problem!

Try to use proxy server to get on nasioc.com

You can find a list of public proxy servers here:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&pwst=1&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=anon+proxy+server&spell=1
