stock sti springs?

how much better are the usdm sti springs than the wrx. its off an 05 sti. and the kid wants 75 bucks shipped. is it worth it?

They're significantly stiffer than the stock wrx springs. No significant change in ride height though. $75 shipped isn't bad at all.

mike whats wrong with you, you are suppose to tell him they are ****, complete ****. He needs to buy your coilovers for 10x the price. Gosh! lol


like mike said, ride hieght is the same and the ride is a bit stiffer, go for a ride in a stock sti, also consider the sti is using harder sidewall tires giving it a harder ride. but for $75, go for it.

It isnt the same height. It is lower in both the rear and front, but not OVERLY significant! I had some for a while, definetly an improvement over stock WRX springs.

163/119 Rates for a stock WRX
224/195 for an STi.

thanx guys. seemed like a good deal. just wanted to make sure. i thought they were cosidering it was an sti. and i had an 04 sti for alittle while. but it also had the sti pink struts in it

i read i need new top hats from an 04 to 07 and tic spacers? maybe i will just get them and wait...

Will WRX struts from an 06 work on your car if the tophats are included or do you need the spacer too? I would give you a deal on my struts/STi springs if you needed them.

no 05 and up struts dont work on 02 and 03 models. or i would just do the whole swap. was just looking for alittle better handling for cheap. so i will look into maybe sti rear mounts and just put grade 8 washers in to take up th slack...:o
