So I just saw the subaru commercial where the dudes head up to Maine for the New Year in a subaru. How about a cruise up there with a bunch of guys, and more importantly, a bunch of subarus on the 31st of December. Show those sons of *****es how its done? I think its a cool idea, anyone else down? It's mid-week so anyone with work would be s.o.l.

I bet we could leave in the afternoon, eat, then set up some sort of parking area near the sea, maybe a fire, then some sweet pics! Or just be there for sunrise on the 1st, that would probably reward us with some better pics.

Hell, it doesnt even need to be on the first, just a fun trip some weekend! Lets see if we can get something started.

Looking into it a bit, it seems that where it is actually supposed to be it quite far away, but another place that sounds pretty banging is cadillac mountain in acadia national park. Or ****, just bar harbor or old orchard, anywhere with beach front views and snow, lol.

hmm, well that would be a problem. I didn't say this plan was without flaws, i honestly thought it up like 5 or 6 hours ago when i saw a commercial on tv.

if i remember correctly, Cadillac Mtn. is closed from Nov. 1st to like March or April 1st

Well, like I said, it doesn't have to be on New Year's exactly.

Camden Harbor looks like a cool place too, I just think any sea/snow group shots would be hot. Does it snow by the ocean, I don't even know. Would the salt melt it? Also, IIRC Nubble light house has a sweet parking area as well.

Hey, it hasn't even snowed yet, so there is some time to work something, if anything, out.

Yes, I love positive responses to the eskimo cruise! Looks like I'll have to get serious about putting together some plan.

Again, this doesn't have to be on New Years, some of you have people you'd rather spend time with than your suby buddies:confused: so anytime, any beach, doesn't matter. just gotta have SNOW!!!
