I patched the LC onto my last map. It worked out very nicely!

Yea. Justin had it before his tune, and I was going to put it back again after but my laptop died and I lost all my files. Got it going, and tinywrex was down.... twice. :spin:

now i can't open any maps to flash to my car. when i open ECU flash and try to open a rom it says that it's an unknown ROM image. anyone got a link to an older version? i had no issues with those. All ECU definitions are up to date

That's funny, I have the same year and model car as you and even used your cable with this newer update. Make sure to erase the older version of ecuflash before installing the newer one so you don't get them mixed up. That's what I did at least. You might need to restart your laptop too. Hope that helps out.

figured it out. after closer inspection, i found that it was looking for metadata models in the wrong place and was finding 0. after changing that to the right directory, it find 300 something and open everything right up. I have no idea how that changed. oh well all is good now, i hope. I still have to trying flashing now.

still a no go. Can't read or write the my cars ECU. anyone got an earlier version? say 1.38?

it's never going to work until i can delete the FTDI USB serial converter drivers from my computer and i can't. It does nothing when i click it from the add/remove programs thing. this is really pissing me off. i just want to change my ****ing map and i can't

Got version 1.29 on my laptop and it works great! don't know what the problem is but that fixed it. I did get 1.4 to work on my buddies MSi wind though. I think i might pick one up for messing around with the car.
