Hey Kevin, can you get some info on Ted about how/where he mounted it? I want to look at his solution before I buy this instead of the GM one.

Well I want to get this, but I need a few things answered. Ted if you can help out. Can you do a little more in depth into the custom bracket you made? I just want to have everything ready so I can install when I get down to my tuner. I am not going to drive the car with it installed and not tuned. I figure get the walbro in, drive it down to Mike, he said he would install the BCS for me, but I want to make it as quick as I can.

Hes tuned my car a few times, with the stock turbo. I want to go open source, but I dont have a schedule that really works with anyones to teach me. I want to get the car running to its max potential before I figure out if I want a new turbo or not.

it is simply a bracket that screws to the new boost solenoid with a "c" at each end to fit in the rubber gromets. look at the OEM one and the 2 rubber mounts, you will get the idea

Is the OEM BCS slow or leaky?
Kevin
12-15-2008, 02:40 PM
ya I guess it's slow and doesn't control the boost that well.

my guess is it cant control the volume. with my LGT and a 20g the most the stock could handle was 19 :spin:
