2.0 breaking up@ WOT

Ok so i have been having a problem with my car for the past couple of weeks. The boost gauge wouls show that i had full boost but the car was sluggisg and ran like crap. after 4000rpm it would break up and sputter like mad no matter how id lift off the throttle and feather it.

Anyways i was told that its a boost leak and a bunch of other stuff.

this is what i found when i took the old fmic off yesterday.

a nice big hole in the cold side pipe.:( cheap aluminium piping.

New kit is on and the new plugs will go in today.

car allready runs 10000000000times better.

Is that the drop pipe that goes through the firewall on the intake side?

thats on the return side. drivers side where it comes up between the radiator and the engine. i looks like it was rubbing. must be under acceleration.

who would have thought cheap spark plugs would have been the problem, on top of the quarter sized hole in your ic piping. :lol:

yip, changed the plugs and problem solved. $6.00.lol
