The Subaru DEX

Subaru has unveiled for Japanese markets the latest in a long line of wagons, the Subaru DEX.

Mostly a redressed Toyota bB / Diahatsu Coo / Materia / etc with a 1.3L 4-speed automatic powerplant. Priced at $14,811 to $19,438.

I'm not quite sure why Subaru doesn't bring this to the United States, it could battle right along side the Scion xB and help boost Subaru's hip, econo image.

I just want a damn RWD boxer platform.

How amazing would that be? Seriously properly designed RWD boxer engine. Thing would handle unbelievable. I can only wish though. Imagine it.... access panels for access to the heads. Double wishbone front suspension. Caster angle galore. YUM YUM

we are getting one. subaru and toyota have teamed up and there will be an awd subaru 2dr coupe version and the toyota version will be rwd 2dr coupe and will be sold as a scion.
