"Clock inturrupt was not recieved from secondary processor". I have never heard of this and i am willing to bet its either the processer or my graphics card.

My computer will freeze under hard processing like in graphically intense games, it will freeze i will see certain lines on the screen, then i get a bsod which is where it begins dumping pyshical memory. Along with stating the "Clock inturrupt was not recieved from secondary processor".

:( fairly new computer.

after reading the last email i recieved from AMD cust service, the product is not under warranty but the product i bought was defective along with about 1200 others manufactured that day. So they are going to give me a $100 credit rebate on any new amd processor.

So i need help picking one.

This is the motherboard i have, http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=591&l4=0&model=1930&modelmenu=1

im looking at the quad core phemon processors and im having trouble deciding which to get. I had the 64 dual core and it worked great, until i guess the second processor went fubar. So im looking at the phenoms since they have okay reviews.

Can someone suggest a processor compatible with my mobo?

Fixed!

i bougght the recently released AMd phenomII quad core black edtion. Its sick, i scored a 9.1 on the vista scale, memory being the lowest score. i guess 8 gbs isnt enough? lol

Well that should change. There are some killer deals on steam right now. Check out Rainbow Six Vegas 2, its 50% off this week and you can play coop and ****, its fun.

yeah rsv2 is really cool, i had it for xbox until my brother beat it. Gay...traded that in for football or some ****. :(

Another game like CS is battlefield, have you tried that? I think the only game i will be buying in the near future will be armed assault 2, its coming out for xbox, ps and pc so im sure its going to be VERY popular. I will get it for pc just so we can play online. :)

you might be able to improve your mem score if you tighten your timings.
