FHI Sales up!

Things are still looking good for for FHI (Fuji Heavy Industries) announcing production, domestic and export sales for September 2008 and the first half of FY2009 in the green.

Mostly due to the redesigned 2009 Forester (recent announced 2009 Sport Utility of the Year by MotorTrend (http://wrxfanatics.com/blog/2008/10/2009-forester-named-motor-trends-2009-sportutility-of-the-year/)) , FHI is posting its first increase in two months. With their new boxer diesel lineup yielding increased sales in European markets as well.

However, with the increased price of raw materials, energy, production costs, and the decreasing foreign exchanges FHI is posting an expected loss in net income for FY2009--following the unfortunate fate of the rest of the worldwide automobile industry.
