Super Endurance... 53ea for 14

This is a new corporate/group event for up to 14 people for $750.00. The race consists of a Practice session, qualifying and then a 50 Lap Endurance race. Over 80 laps of fast-paced racing on our 9-turn professionally designed road course

Jeff and I are probably going to my house in Maine for the night on Friday and then we are going to head over from there. It takes like 45 minutes to get to the indoor track from there.. which is about the same from Po-town.

I would have to call up on the reservation but I already know one thing that there is a 25 dollar fee for changes.

That's the only way to drive these cars is to be aggressive. I was a little disappointed after qualification. Because even though I had clean laps I couldn't show any good time. But my cart did come alive after about 10 laps into the race.

I don't know what that was, either tyres warmed up or I found some balance with the car, but I started to feel it and enjoying it. I think we should go to this same place next time, then after that try F1boston again.

I noticed my cars engine starting to misfire A LOT when we started the 50 lap race. whenever i came out of a corner it would sputter. Even when we left the start line it died for a second and thats when Nate flew by me. But like Vlad said, after about 10 or so laps, i really got into the car and felt like handled much better. I learned where to break and how to keep the rear end plated and not slide out in the corners. It was a blast. And you had to be somewhat aggressive to pass people. If i couldn't get by someone for a while and they were slower then me, i'd take the inside from them and push them out to the outside. hehe. it had to be done to pass!!

I'd love to go back soon!

I actually struggled with seat the entire race. BEcause on second lap my seat shifted all the way to the back :( but I didn't wanna pull over to fix it, that would have been the end of it. Can't wait til next time!

Practice Practice Practice. One you get in a groove and start trying different lines you will see your speed increase. I'm down to go whenever!!

OK I think the general plan for next time should be this.

Step 1) Gather Deposits
Everyone who wants to go give 60 bucks, and gives preference for location, and absolute no go weekends.

Step 2) wait for 12 or so to get deposits in, or specificed date. Once we have full load we pick a date about a month in advance. At this point you can still get you're money back.

Step 3) Make reservation. Deposits are non refundable at this point, you'll need to find someone else to pay. We'll also refund the difference between actual price and deposit.

Does this sound like it would work?

But I would simplify this like this

If you're interested to go, pay in advance and it's non-refundable. You can find replacement if you cannot attend, and that replacement will refund you the money.

On a personal note, I can attend any weekend with the exception of next weekend (will be attending Indy 500 practice) and the weekend of June 16th (will be attending Formula 1 US Grand Prix)

The whole situation is not all that difficult to organize. What screws things up is that people will bow out. Who ever organizes the event needs to be on his/her toes and ensure that he receives deposits for the event well in advance. Those that have to cancel will need to understand that they forfeit their money unless they can find someone to fill the spot.

Go https://upload.video.google.com/, you must have gmail.com account. There you will download a program called google uploader and you can upload unlimited videos. Even if it's 1 GB. Don't need to compress it.

Please use video.google.com it's the best + we can embed it in the forum.

If you don't want to do it or don't have google account, burn a CD for me, I'll upload it myself.

There is NO music and no clipping during the 50 lap heat except for when hayley must have stopped the camera for a second at the end of the race and missed me winning. booo. i'll give you a link when it up.
