This is our second year running this show and we're happy to give back to the Subaru community by giving them a place to hang out for a day and talk about the cars we love!

There is a drop-down menu to select the vehicle you will be entering with. Each purchase will get you entry to the Show n' Shine, 1 meal ticket and raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase day of.

Food is once again catered by Muddy River Smokehouse, they did a great job last year and we look forward to having them back again!

Last year there was around $2,000 in prizes and giveaways and we expect even more this year! Prizes have already started to arrive from various manufactures.

Prizes will be awarded to Best in Show, Best Turbo'd Subaru, Best N/A Subaru. More classes will be added as the event nears and we have a better idea what type of Subarus are coming.

Maybe I'll make it to this one and not forget. Last year I ended up getting gas at the Mobile only to remember about it. I was on my way down to Mass to have a friend help me with my brakes and a few other things on the SVX so I didn't have time to stop by and say hi to the like 3 people left. I have high doubts for DSM's being able to show at the moment since all the prices are geared toward Subaru vehicles.

We of course welcome any auto enthusiast to the show regardless of what you drive.

When Jay gets back from Vaca I'll sit down and chat with him about DSM's.

99.9% sure it will be at Exeter Subaru (may be the last year we can have it here though assuming the turnout gets better and better). As far as time goes.......we will start parking cars at 10am (a little later than last year). We're very excited and hoping for a large turn-out of not only Subie's, but vendors!

Edit, I tried cashing out with paypal and I got an error. did it go through??

For some reason Paypal is screwing with our API settings and I'm working on a fix to get Express Checkout working. For the time being we've disabled Express Checkout (you won't see the express checkout button any more), and enabled Paypal Standard checkout. When you get to the payment screen there will be a drop down menu with Paypal, Credit Card and Mailing in payment options. If you select paypal it will work (just tested it with my own account), it just will take an extra step or two compared to express checkout.

Sorry for the issue, we're working on getting it resolved. Please let me know if any problems persist for you.

Plus, does it really matter if you win a certain class? You'll still have a chance to win one of the random raffle prizes we have and you'll be getting a catered meal and a chance to hang out with a bunch of Subaru peeps.

There is no discount because the pre-reg fee ($12 with the coupon) is to cover the cost of food. You'll have to come to the table and check-in to get your meal ticket, you'll be told what needs to be done for the show car stuff but you can just dismiss those instructions if you're not looking to show your car.

It's really not a bad deal if you pre-reg. $12 gets you food, raffle tickets and if you want to show your car and try to win a class you get that too.

So we've decided to scale back the show classes compared to last year. We feel it's too cookie cutter if we do a class for each model (i.e. winner for Impreza, winner for Legacy, winner for Forester....)

What we've decided is the following:

-Best in Show Subaru $50 gift card to SubaruWRXparts.com

-Best Turbo'd Subaru (this can be stock turbo or aftermarket/swapped turbo vehicle) $50 gift card to SubaruWRXparts.com

-Best N/A Subaru $50 gift card to SubaruWRXparts.com

-Farthest Travel $50 gift card to SubaruWRXparts.com

-Most Die-Hard Subaru Fan $100 gift card to SubaruWRXparts.com

Here's what we're looking for when we say Die-Hard Subaru Fan. Since we're a Subaru Dealership as well we have a soft spot for everything Subaru. How do you prove you're a die-hard Subaru fan? Well just like a die-hard sports fan does. Subaru Shirts, Subaru toys, Subaru Pictures, showing us proof of all the Subarus you've owned (i.e. old registrations, pictures of you with your car(s), etc. etc.). Maybe you have some Autographs from Subaru celebrities like Ken Block or Mr. 199 himself. Hell, maybe you showed up with your face painted World Rally Blue. Maybe you have a sweet Subaru related vanity plate, make sure we see it! Keep in mind that simply painting your face will not mean you'll win, a true fan has more than one example!

The above are just examples, you can certainly be creative. Consider us a jury in a courtroom and you're the defendant pleading your case, prove to us that you are a die-hard fan and you'll win! Our jury is not easy to convince either, many of them have been involved with Subaru for over 10 years now so make sure you go big or you'll be going home empty handed!

Just a reminder to all:

Pre-reg will be ending around 11am Saturday Morning. After that you'll have first come, first serve for entry to the event (I anticipate being able to accommodate everyone and anyone).

PLEASE BRING YOUR INVOICE THE DAY OF FOR ENTRY (SAVES TIME TRUST ME!). No entry prior to 9am, we will turn you away if you're early, we have to have the time needed to get everything set-up.

The parts department will be open on the day of the event but keep in mind we may not have everything stocked currently. We've had to move a bunch of aftermarket stuff off-site because of limited space here. If you have a product in mind and want to pick it up on the day of the event please contact me ASAP and we'll see what can be done for you.

Food is going to be provided by Muddy River and they're prepared for 70+ people so everything should be good on that front!

Our tentative schedule is:

Open at 9am
Raffle at 11am
Food as early as 11:30am but likely closer to 12pm
Class Winners announced at 12pm or with the raffle at 11am
Then we kick you all off the lot at 1pm ;) so we can move the cars back to place for the sales guys for Monday.

Also there may be more prizes added by the end of this week for the raffle (*cough* bigbrakesparts.com *cough*)

Thanks everyone has has registered. Good turn-out again this year, on par with last year!

We've got some good people volunteering here at the shop to help out that day. We'll have a sales guy here for anyone who has questions on new vehicles (we'll even have some of the new models up front for looking)

We'll have a tech here who is going to be in the garage with one of our cars on the lift. He'll go over what we normally check on the multi-point inspections. This helps out because I know many of you are DIY guys and may not know all the key points to look at when doing an oil change or service (things like trailing arm bushings and control arm bushings). He'll be able to help out with some routine Subaru Service type questions (he is not an aftermarket guy so don't expect him to be able to tell you what A/F ratio you should be running in your Stage 3 opensource tuned WRX http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif).

Food is all set-up and there will be plenty of it. Raffle tickets will be handed out when you enter and more will be available for purchase.

You'll receive a meal ticket when you come in to the show and you'll be able to go up and use it when we announce food is ready (probably around 1130-12pm). You'll get served your share which is a normal lunch sized meal. Muddy River is doing the catering and will be doing the serving and they give "healthy" sized portions.

No refunds will be given if you do not show unless you're one of the people that have spoken to me already (I have your names set aside). This will be RAIN OR SHINE. If it's showering at any point during the show we'll have the food set-up in the show-room and we had already planned on announcing raffle prizes/gift cards there as well.
