uppipe without egt bung.

im busy changing my header and putting back unequal headers and my perrin uppipe doesnt have an egt bung. where can i get one welded on today and if not could i drive without it?

ya you could just put a resistor inplace of it. If you don't put one inplace of it will throw a code.

I know when I had my uppipe put in at ktr thats what they did.

any shop that welds, mineke. just bring them the pipe and tell them to drill and weld the bung in X location.

I would not get one put on, without the cat if it breaks up because of the extra heat/flow from the headers its going strait into your turbo, but that is just my thought.

Weird, we just welded a bung into Mike's midpipe the other day for his WRX header swap! I would help ya man if I were around today but working till 2ish then have to head home for an oil change for tomorrows race then golf, sorries. I would tell you to stop by my shop and talk to the old man, but he is an hour + from you and will only be there till about 12-1. Best of luck man!

don't bother putting it in, it's only there to make sure your cat is working right, and since you don't have a cat anymore, you don't need it. If your car is reflashed, then you'll be all set, but if not, just put a resistor in it. I can't tell you the size resistor off the top of my head but it should be very easy to search for on nasioc.
