Ok now I didn't do much of a search about this but from what i read here the new impreza is like the wrx so someone help me out and tell me that its not true.

It's pretty much an 08 wrx except it's got a auto tranny. Thats about it

huh interesting.. so you wouldn't be able to get a manual impreza anymore? or is there a base model and a gt model? hmm

The Impreza GT will be like the 08 WRX but only in auto, around $500 less than the 08 WRX (MSRP)...the 09 WRX will be 265hp (almost same setup as LGT), stiffer suspension, and the premium package bumpers and STI spoiler and grill stock, estimated around $1000 more than the 08 WRX (MSRP). Also the 09 WRX will only be offered in 5MT.

The 09 Impreza will still be offered in both 4EAT and 5MT

Heh....who woulda thought they were going to be offering so many damn impreza models?

Im glad my girl drives a WRX, and its even starting to get mods. :)
