Supposed to be 100% better than the 08. The 08 model is now the GT model, only available as an AT. Check out the video, car seems much better!

[method]

It can't be 100% better, 80% of the car is the same. Granted they did improve it quite a bit.

Changes:
* Bigger Turbo
* New Tune
* STI Springs
* 1mm larger front and rear SB
* Premium aero package standard
* STI grill.

Yup....great changes too. Seems like this car is where its at right now. Maybe after my paint job I will go to stock and get an 09.

I'm happy they took notice in the performance aspect, but I'm still not a fan of the looks (minus the STi version).

265 hp 244 tq, thats nice, I may be getting a subaru again if they stay under the claimed $25k range. How long before they come out with a comparible Lancer?

Prolly never....I am sure the EVO takes good enough care of that side of the industry for em. NEver know though. 09 rex is nasty though, the hatch's have grown on me.

i think it's time to trade in the trusty old 04 and get a new one. I REALLY like it and very serious about getting a new one... I just have to wait and see how things turn out once the lobstering season in over....
