Sports Car Club of Vermont (SCCV) is having their first AutoX of the season May 5th.

I am pretty sure that non-club members can go. I am a member. It is also a "practice" day for the team event on Sunday.
Saturday is a regular SCCV autox, subject to SCCV rules (SCCV rules are different from SCCA...no PAX). Sunday is the big day:
The Sports Car Club of Vermont proudly presents the
Green Mountain Piston Cup
Sugarbush Resort, Warren, Vermont
The Green Mountain Piston Cup is to be held on Sunday May 6th. A regular SCCV (non-team) autocross will be held on Saturday May 5th.
Sundays team event will be held on the same course as saturdays event, so you may use it as practice for Sunday.
The details for Sunday's event are as follows:
3 people per team
2 cars per team
Each car will have its own pax
No practice runs on Sunday
Each team will take the best time of each driver in each car. For example, if you bring a Miata and a Jetta, each team member will have their best run in the Miata, and their best run in the Jetta. Those times will have the pax applied to them. All six times are added together, and divided by 6. Lowest time wins.
Number of runs is not yet determined.....that will be an event day decision, but will be decided by the time of the drivers meeting.
There are no limits on the amount of teams that can enter per club. We are likely to do a preregistration, please stay tuned for the details. Event fees:
Saturday: $20 NESCC members(SCCV, KSCC, SCCNH) / $25 for non-members
Sunday: $100 per team($33.34 each) FOR NESCC members / $130 for non-members
Other details:
On sunday, the GMPC, there will be NO lunch break. Of the 3 member teams, one member must be working on the course at all times, another can be driving, the third can do whatever the hell they want.....watch, work on the car, go get lunch for the team. I am up for an SCS Team if anyone is interested.
We can use my RS if we want though it's PAX is very high as it is in SM. It is really not fast enough to be competitive in it's class. Still it would be very fun.
Regardless I will be up there both days.
