I was unprepared for this. Seems most MK5 VW owners would rather wipe their cars down with a daiper than drive the damn thing.

This is exactly what eugene and i did during our photoshoot meet. Too bad wasn't as muddy.

Come on people cars are made to drive and have fun, slide and drift and race. Some like it in snow, some in dirt, you name it. I'd rather do what I enjoy than clean and polish the car every day and just look at it.

VW had a big chance when they released the MK5 to the public. It was a one-shot to regain some of what they used to be; build fun cars that got ok gas mileage that were riddled with electrical and fuel injection gremlins. Instead, the released a BIGGER, heavier car, with a great engine, aaaaaand it's probably gonna be riddled with electrical and fuel injection gremlins. They don't sell anything small or cheap enough. Fvck VW; if I wanted an Audi, I'd buy one, and if Hyundai can do small/cheap, so can VW. MK1/MK2 FTW.
