Hey guys,

My downpipe came in today, and thanks to a large hole in the box I’m missing the gaskets and bolts. I have a sheet of fel-pro Pro-ramic 2499 from napa that I have had for a while. I was going to make a turbo/dp gasket with it, but I figured I would see if anyone has any experience with it. I don’t really want to pull the dp back out to change the gasket if this stuff is known to leak.

Thanks,

Chris

I've used that stuff on the cat back sections but I always use copper gaskets on the dp and up because of the heat and pressure. That's one place you really don't want to leak.

buy the oem one's from the dealer.

or the crucial racing gaskets most others seem to suck and leak later on

Yeah that’s what I was worried about. I’m sure it will be fine for a while but changing gaskets every few months would get old. Ill probably just try to get one from a dealer tomorrow.
