I just returned home with a fp green 2.4" fp greem 7 cm iwg.

I got it dirt cheap. I need to have the inlet machined or buy a new hotside.
I was thinking about going with a 8 cm hotside wich is 200-300 or just have it machined. other then that no shaft play and its in pretty good shape for 300 bucks lol

things I have to buy
walboro fuel pump
pe 850 cc injectors
perrin big maf
aps turbo inlet
tune? prbly dsg

Nice, congrats! What are your wishes for the car anyway? What is it being built for?

more along the lines of really fun dd/weekend autocross/track car.

Is a green practical for that? I haven't looked into them a whole lot personally. IMO, super 16's and vf39's with the 16 compressor wheel are the best for autoxing and short tracks.

it should be it spools about the same as a vf39. the guy I got it from use to autocross alot with it.

I couldn't really refuse it at the price.

I not gonna push the power to much though. maybe 18-19psi
might be picking up some headers too real cheap.
I have to narrow down my next clutch though.

The green is a great dd turbo for a 2.5, especially at that price. I have a perrin big maf blow through pipe that would be perfict for your set up.:D
I'm actually looking at going GT30 or a new HTA green for my 2.0 build.

I don't think iam going with a fmic.

I think I'm doing a sti tmic with a griffin bar and plate core

Just picked up a set of maddad unequal length headers wrapped and ceramic coated for 100 bucks:devil:

just needs a little work on the up pipe flange but for 100 I couldn't pass it up.

I'll be picking up a set of pe 850's from the same source soon after I move aug 1.

then grimmspeed tgv deletes, aps inlet and perrin big maf and some sort of intercooler.

What is so good about the FP green setup? Im guessing its a larger turbo since you need bigger injectors.

Also, why is it called green, if its actually going to use more fuel?

here is the link for it http://store.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=FP&Product_Code=NTSUBFPGREEN&Category_Code=WRX-Turbo

its a 49 lb turbo and is a killer street turbo. after I build the block I'll probably go with the hta gt35r rotated turbo kit. not sure how they came up with the name but it has a green nut on the turbine wheel.

It should be good for 330 whp and 330 wtq on dsg's dyno or close to 380 on a dyno like tdc use to have.

I'll be running 22-24 psi on pump not sure I want to push anything with a race gas tune.

oh and the whole green movement wasn't around when they made this turbo.

my car should get better fuel economy after the tune then with my stage 2 cobb map but thats if I don't floor it all the time.

haha it is I'm just getting my feet wet.
when I get bored and the car is payed off. I'm thinking gt40 twin scroll with 1600cc injectors lol.

or I'll sell it and by a fast car like a z06 or something
