Yep... I am a dumbass!
So I bought a used gauge and it didn't come with a hose or a "T". So I bought a generic pack of T's and headed over to Home Depot for some hose. I asked around the forums and everyone said that it doesnt matter what size hose (to a point) that you buy, as long as its rated for that PSI and can be easily sealed/connected.
There I am standing in the hose isle looking at hoses 3/8" i think, there are two kind, the extremely flexible completely clear kind(think beer funnel), or the much less flexible frosted stuff (think icemaker). Both are rated for 55 PSI. I know I'll hit 17 someday if I'm crazy (i do 16 now) so 55 should be fine right? so I grab the more flexible, easier to seal crystal clear hose.
BIG MISTAKE... at -23 psi the hose almost flattens.. I bet by winter it will get brittle and crack. When that happens.... its like my waste gate opening all the time right?
So don't be a dumbass like me, look for better hose(I'm surfing the web for it now)
