Does the 2.5i have a SOHC?

Autozone indicates that there are models with SOHC as well as DOHC. I had thought previously all Imprezas were DOHC....

check subaru.com, i think its posted under the specs of the engine. im leaning towards dohc though.

^^ LOL I disregarded this thread due to the fact that I thought it had something to do with a camera. It is DOHC.

hmmm I am not sure when they have changed from motor to motor.

I know that the new cars come with SOHC in the n/a motor and it has been like that since the 2.5rs changed to a SOHC.

Oh, you listed 2.5i...didnt notice that in the OP. I am pretty sure the 06+ 2.5is come with SOHC...sorry about that

i think they changed in 00 to a single, but i really have no idea. Hayley should know.

yup 2.5i has a SOHC.
