I did the sway bar a short while back and took a couple of pics, but never posted them.

Took a couple of shots down at my sister's house last week too, and included them.

Nothing special, really, but its mine. (Well, me and the bank...)

Have you done the rear yet? I was looking @ the rear fixed Whiteline unit.

I haven't done the rear bar yet-
I have been waiting for the adjustable Whiteline, but I called subaruwrxparts.com last week and they don't seem to really expect that one to be available until june or july.

Not sure if I'll make it that long....

I'll probably be looking around to see what other options I have.
I prefer the idea of adjustable just in CASE I find the balance to be .... off.
Gives me more options on tuning things up.
But since I am more likely to use the firmer setting anyway, I may just grab a non adjustable if I can decide on which one.

Just having the front on has made a huge difference, but there is a slightly odd moment during "spirited" cornering where you can feel the front end pulling the car around hard and the back end doing some power oversteer...
Only lasts a fraction of a second before it balances, but just a bit odd.
I think the large difference between front and rear bars is what makes it noticeable.

HarmanMotive has the Whiteline rear adjustable bar on their site. I don't know if it's in stock or not.

I called them once a while back too, and they were "supposed" to call me back when they have it. ;)
It was listed then too, but not available.

It won't hurt to give them a call again though.
Next week during work.

Not sure about any other year, but a 2008 WRX benefits HUGELY from a decent front sway bar.

I expect you'll be happy. :)

And yeah- subaruwrxparts.com seems good to me... though I just drove up to get mine. :D

One note on picking up parts from subaruwrxparts-

don't forget to do the order first, otherwise you don't get the discounted pricing.

I missed that part, but fortunately had my laptop with me. :D

Nah I ordered it last Monday 4/14. It was supposed to be available 2-3 days later but Subaru's warehouses were holding things up. I won't be able to get it until Wed. at the earliest. Julie kept me informed though so +1 for them. (-1 for Subaru of New England :-/ )
