I heard you like Mudflaps

Anyone here install their own mudflaps?

I just picked up a set of rally armors, and want to install them :devil:

I put mine in. If your flexible and have a small screwdriver you can install them without taking the wheels off.

Nah actually it was pretty damn cold out -- freezing rain. My hands were frozen installing them. If it is wet out like it was when I did mine your going to get a little dirty installing them.

Just use a quarter inch ratchet /w a phillips head bit in it. It makes squeezing in between the tire and the wheel well easy.

did mine in the middle of this winter, took the front wheels off to do it but was not necessary. The more clips you take off the side skirts the easier the install will be.
I will help if you want, but not back in NH until the 25th

did mine in dec 06 when I bought my sti.
I used a 90 degree screwdriver and didn't have to take off the wheels. It was damn cold though I think it took me like half hour.

aha! managed to find the cable. it was in one of those spots where I put things to separate them from the rest of the **** I have, but rarely remember to check.

So i need some feedback.....I am going to order rally armor mud-flaps but i cant decide on what color writing i want! My WRX is CGM so i was thinking of going with the grey lettering but i thought the red would look good with the red brake calipers....also thought it might be too tacky though. I am going to get the limited urethane flaps....if anyone could give me their thoughts on letter coloring i would greatly appreciate it!

i would go with silver lettering.

i thought about the red ones too, but i ended up going with the cheap ones.

with red, it does match the stock calipers, but you will not be able to see both the red lettering + caliper color simultaneously.

i think the silver would look great.

I like the blue lettering better... but do they really do that much difference on pavement? The "flaps" that sit at the front of the wheelwell are designed to push the air away from the tires, thus causing less splash from the tires....
