Nice wheels Brandon! I just bought an STI axleback, and got the midpipe too!! Not sure how it's gonna work, but we'll have to see. If only I could get Russ to help me put it on tonight... its sitting in the back of the wagon and I'm getting impatient!

My wheelbase is longer, but my midpipe is longer as well to make up for it. The axleback bolted up fine. Russell and his dad did most of the work, I'm not gonna lie. It sounds a little deeper when I get on it, but it is not obnoxious. It looks real nice too.

I debadged the back today, with the exception of the stars logo in the middle. That thing is bolted right on, so it will stay for now. Looks a lot better than before.

Next project: Painting my 2 pots. I want them to be hot pink, like STI pink. I looked for hot pink high temp paint, but no luck. So I bought some red and white high temp paint and decided to mix the two. Not a good idea lol... I hated the color that came out as I tried to mix, and I figured that it would be too hard to keep the same color all the way around. So I started to paint my calipers white for now as kind of a primer, then go get some regular paint (like rustoleum or something) in hot pink and paint that on top of the white, followed by the high temp clear coat. If I can't find a good pink, then I'll do something creative... or leave them white (at least it'll match the car). It was too f***ing cold to do more than one wheel today, so I gotta work on that tomorrow hahaha... we'll have to see what happens.

Can't wait to see what else you're gonna do to your 2.5i!!! I would definately get the STI axleback... you'll like it. What else do you have planned?

LOL, be glad it's a GD, not a GC. Your rear sway now would be an upgrade about 6 years ago.:)

lol my first question to a friend when I got my gc was do I need to look for wrx/sti stuff.

He said normally, yes, but the wrx/sti guys swap to what I have so I am OK.

That is my plan, but the only paint I could find was that kit online for like 40 bucks... don't quite have that right now (need 400 bucks for big photoshoot in Boston on Sunday). I have one caliper done white, but it's too cold to keep painting.. not to mention I'm sick and feel like $hit. I'll figure something out...eventually.

As for you... go for the suspension goodies!!! What kind of goodies do you have in mind?
