Wet pavement, a nice turn, and snow tires on a private road make for some opposite locked fun.

Unfortunately, at the apex I see that there is one of scummersworth's finest sitting there almost at the end of the road. crap.

I snapped out of the drift and pulled up next to him. Explain that I am allowed to be there as my Father owns the property and I do checks to see if people are dumping etc back there.

He asks for my license and reg while I explain the fact that the road is private (I do not know if that matters for "reckless driving" though) and the town does not plow/maintain it as of yet.

Gave me a verbal warning and informed me that it would have been mandatory court if he gave me a ticket.

I need to get out on the track.

You all need to come over to my area, I have a town with literally miles and miles of dirt roads right next to me, and two, thats right, two cops. One on patrol at a time....needless to say, its a suby drivers dream!

Belmont looks like tons of fun, though I've only driven through in a box truck, and never off of 106 or 140 west. Sandown is similar, though most of the dirt is true offroading. TONS of paved/roughed up back roads, and two cops in town.

We should have a group outing to the Rochester rallyx this year. I'm told it's usually good, and was a mud bog last year.

I am a member of SCCVT. I will be up at sugarbush 5/5-5/6 at their autox that weekend.

I saw the Roch fair rally x but want to go watch one first to see what kind of beating the cars get.

$100 each I think, but really do not remember.

I just want to know what breaks. It would be a bad time for me to lose an axle shaft or something.

It would seem unlikely for really anything to break under those conditions unless it was already on its way out.

Damage is usually minimal. I would bring your spare tire and get a front skid plate, the beefier the better. You should be fine.
