They sound awesome. Mike has one on his 2.5I Not the SPT but still is about the same tone.

His car sounds awesome too!

Mike never had an SPT catback on his car. He had a twin tip Stromung. Had a nice sound for an N/A car. He has gotten rid of that, and now has a single tip Stromung on the way. I think they make an SPT one for your car, but Im not sure. I do recommend a stromung for a 2.5i though.

The equal on the 2.5i sounds awesome! It doesn't sound quite as good on the WRX and STI but that may just because of the turbo ones I have heard were crappy mufflers.

Nothing at all wrong with equal length.

If and only if you get a super sweet deal go for the SPT, but those things are way overpriced. I've picked up both my Stromungs for around $300 shipped. The dual-tip was louder, but that had ~15k when I got it. The single-tip is fairly quiet with a nice low tone. Its has <50 miles on it so far but getting louder as I go. Just need to get this thing broken in. My vote: look at stromungs. They're well made, look great, and sound great. Me not so much a fan of SPT.

Stromung Type XA Axleback for sale here. $250 is pretty decent. I bought this guys midpipe. Better than SPT **** IMHO. That spt muffler is teh ugly.
