Since no reservations are needed for this place I will actually say that me and Jess are a maybe. Working nights tonight and tomorrow night so I'll probably be out of it on Friday.

Think I'm doing some shopping with Jess that afternoon and evening as well so scheduling might not work out.

I'd say I'm at 50% confirmed. Will update by noon on Friday if I wake up soon enough.

I did last weeks, and I've decided I will no longer plan meets unless it is a BBQ meet at my place. Too much trouble. We lucked out last time with a minimal wait time. I suggest anyone that plans a meet at a place where reservations might be needed to make them for the amount of people that have confirmed they are going by 12pm on the day of. Those who do last minute confirmations are out of luck.

Reason:

4 people confirmed by 12pm for Chilis last Friday. I decide it is not worth calling ahead for 4 people. I check again at about 4pm and now 4 more people, making 8 total, have confirmed they are going. We lucked out with a 15 minute wait time (even though they said 30-40 minutes). It won't always be like that though.

People blowing off meets is their choice, meets are not mandatory nor will they ever be.

Granted, if people say they are coming and we make reservations, it would be at least courteous of the people that can't all of a sudden come to a meet get in touch with the OP.

As for your other comment, people treat other people, how they are in turn treated.

by blowing off i mean saying they will show up, and they dont. blowing off does not mean just stop coming. i realize they are not mandatory, nor would anyone want them to be, but its just disrespectful to say you are coming, and then just not show up without calling or posting or anything.

After playing granturismo for ps2, then going to forza. It was like arcade vs simulator, GT had better graphics but forza domintated in physics and car handling. Plus in GT, you can put a turbo and nos on any vehicle.

The new GT does look badass, and im sure they have improved on everything, i havent played it yet, but im sure i would like it.

When it comes to both Forza and GT neither one nail realistic car handling. Forza is closer usually though. But GT's sounds and graphics are insane since day one.
