I Have an 06 STI and have noticed that my windshield wiper fluid it not spraying. I checked the fuse and it was fine. my windshield wiperswork when i pull the handle for the wiper fluid so im pretty sure its not the switch. I don't hear the wiper fluid motorwhich im assuming you can usually. So im guessing the wiper fluid motor is dead is it easy to replace or is it A pain in the ***? Also,is the motor under the 60,000 warranty?

I'd check the wires at the sprayer. Seems odd to burn out the pump on a car that's only 4 yrs old and under 60k miles.

The motor is easy to replace its right under the tank. Before you buy a new one, take the motor out and check it by wiring it right to the batter. This will check if its a bad motor or the switch.

^ You should start a new thread for that and/or post in here ==> http://newenglandsubarus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13286 as your question has nothing to do with the windshield washers not spraying...

lol problem solved actually "PUSHING" the end of the stick makes them spray.

This was a good thread. There are no such thing as stupid questions here. Now you don't have to tear out the motor for the sprayer!

I noticed today, my pull lever has a logo "Pull for mist" right on the lever. If i pull it, it will cycle the wipers, minus the spray.
