Hey all-- I'm new to the forums-- i was just wondering if there was a go-to place if I wanted to put some new rims/shocks/exhaust/short shifter on my 09 wrx? If anyone knows of someone who is very good at what they do please lemme know :)

:welcome: to the forum! Are you good at working on cars because all those things are easy to do. You would just have to get it tuned after the exhaust goes on and for that I would highly recommend Bren Tuning

I haven't had any work done by the Wicked guys, but after talking with a few of them at WBM, they seem very knowledgeable and they know their ****.

I hear good things about them. I would also suggest keeping an eye open for install days at member's houses. Ussually you may find a groupe of people that all wanna get stuff installed and have a hand and good time with buddies. But what do I know. I don't install anything, just hoard it and get yelled at.

I don't install anything, just hoard it and will some day part it all out.
Fixed that for you.
As for Wicked Innovations, they seem to do good work. But doing it by yourself or buying beer for a few people is much cheaper.

I know a couple kids with garages that could have this done in a weekend......aside from the mounting of tires on new rims

wow, all these replies were awesome! haha -- to answer some of your questions: I have absolutely ZERO experience working on cars :( So I would have to take it to someone...but I definitely would love to get some exp though or at least learn by watching. As for filling out my profile I just did that so ppl now know I'm from tiverton haha-- I'll keep my eye out for meets and such - I'd def. be down for somethin like that

None of the mods you posted require very many tools or are very difficult to do. Read up or ask around, save yourself some money!

I don't have a garage, tools, or the experience to install a short shifter, downpipe, and catback lol -- I finally ordered a short shifter the other day (spt ss w/ rear bushing and group n tranny mount)...now looking at the perrin exhaust system (cat-back + downpipe) i guess i gotta figure out how much this is really gonna cost to have someone else install it? if not maybe figure out an install day with other wrx dudes? Also, I started to get in touch with a couple other vendors on the site so I appreciate pointing me in a direction!
