Happy Bday Alex - 2004 VF39 2.0L tuned

Just finished tuning Alex's car, still going strong at 120k :spin:. Alex had a dreaded UTEC Stage 4 basemap on it that made the car run real poorly. Uninstalled it and put on OS.

The setup:

2004 WRX
VF39/Pinks
Unipod/zerosports elbow/gimmick inlet
Hyperflow tmic
Invidia Up/Downpipe/SPT catback
Perrin MBC

What he's missing: Walbro 255

Some key maintenance items and parts really helped here. I'll post a pre-tune thread checklist for everyone in a bit.

Tuning Notes:

AFR: 11.0. With a lack of walbro the fuel pressure starts to drop past 6200 towards redline and the car tapers up to 11.2-11.3-11.4 past 6000 to redline no matter what.
Boost: 19.0->18.0 at redline - turbo was cooperating very nice here!
Timing: very conservative for higher mileage motor and lack of fuel pressure up top.

All I can say is "WOW". The car drives and pulls better than I could have ever imagined. Bren's nick name being "The Magic Man" fits him 110% Thanks so much for doing such an amazing job man :up:
