This is horrible. sorry for your loss...
Separating subaru from rice is like keeping something evil away...
I hope his project gets finished.
I have been uneasy even in cold bangor maine, kids playing with guns recently. Soveriegnty needs defense...the real thing. Not to drift off into a picture too big over this incident, he is an example of why.

I read this post this morning, and have been at a loss for words all day. It really is hard to comprehend such a senseless act of violence, and one can't help but have feelings of anger, rage, and sadness stirred when hearing of such an act.
Hopefully the police will step up and do their jobs, and will apprehend and bring those involved in this terrible act to justice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
And while I did not know Eric personally, as the saying goes, "Only the good die young". May he rest in peace, and know that he will be remembered.
Also, has a donation site of any type been setup for the family, because I'm sure there are plenty of people, myself included, that are more then willing to donate and help the family in their time of grievance.

R.I.P. Eric I will sorely miss our late night talks at my office of Rally and cars in general. You will be missed!
ReZPunK
05-25-2010, 09:57 AM
you can blame me for the Rally Bug biting him a few years ago.
I will miss the winter drives we took, the trips to Halifax to Rallycross, the constant fielding of "will this work on my legacy" questions, the plans to go driving like maniacs in the woods around here.
few winters ago Eric taught me how to snowboard, which was awesome because its a sport that i learned so i could do something with my own son. for that i am eternally grateful.
i remember just last thrusday night talking with E. he called to talk about his new place he was living in and the 1/2 mile dirt road that was his driveway. i was giving him the driving spiel. hehe reminding him of the lessons i gave him about driving on dirt.
gah! this sucks.
Holy Crap, I am very sorry for your loss dude. I hope you and your family can work through this. My prayers are with you

RIP, I met Eric autocrossing last year and again on a group drive at Kangamangus. We each showed up late and intercepted the group at a Conway gas station. We went for our own mini group drive and I followed him to the end of the Kanc and back, then he showed me hurricane mtn rd. He bought some parts off me later that same afternoon. His SS was pretty beat up but he loved it and drove it to its limits all day.I hardly knew him but he was one of the most friendly, outgoing, people I have met in the Subauru community.
I actually remember going to school with the piece of **** who did this. Its strange knowing both parties involved prior to this. I hope he goes to P.M.I.T.A prison for the rest of his life, he deserves nothing less.

Stories like this will continue to pop up :)
I met Eric at the Rock"n"roll diner meet and we chatted about his SS for hours then had dinner.
He really loved that car.
Also sat next to him at the GLB meet and we both got the beer tasting paddles and talked about the different flavors.
He reminded me a lot of myself at his age.

oh boy... I don't know where to start. After talking Eric appeared at my house to see said STi that hides in my garage. From there he and I developed a weird sort of relationship based on cars, there is a huge age difference between us but that didn't matter.
I had the fortune of sharing a bunch of time with him last summer; ATV Riding, talking cars, working on his car/learning from him, chillin' by the pool and in general just hanging... Eric and I even had a few side projects on the net going down....

Like U bu!!dawg... he reminded me of a younger (and much wiser) version of myself.. All the way down to how we would build a waterslide from my roof to my pool..
He will B sorely missed:(
