08 Subaru WRC From Frankfurt

Next month in Frankfurt, we'll all get our first looks at Subaru's new WRC car in the form of the Subaru WRC Concept. The automaker will have driver Petter Solberg on hand for the introduction of the racer, which for all intents and purposes shows us what the next-gen Impreza WRC car will look like. It should also offer a very strong hint at the styling of the forthcoming Impreza STI. The STI grille, big wing and bulging bodywork do the new Impreza some good, as this looks worlds better and far more aggressive than the soft-looking standard car. Subaru has released no details other than the two images you see here. Rest assured, our Frankfurt team will bring you the full scoop from the floor in Germany next month.

I'm not a fan, but it'll look better after it's had a few "Tree Tag" 55mph rollovers on gravel and continues on stage.

I gotta have it. I would also want to fix the tails but I like it its style. It says in your face this car has balls and this is the way its gona look. :)

Yup taillights are all that bother me except I don't care on this car. It a a pure rally machine and that is all that matters.

i know people say that car style changes grow on you the more you see them, but the more i see those taillights the more i absolutely can't stand them, and that wing is ENORMOUS

So is it believed that the 2008 production STi will have the fender flares such as this WRC STi, or has this been widened for rally?

If the 2008 production STi looks anything like this WRC car (especially from the front) I'm definitely selling my street bike, dirt bike, and trading the '06 in.
