Loud screeching coming from the driverside front tire area when turning left(bearing maybe?), loud screeching when backing up coming from the rear, sounds like metal on metal, and is horribly embarresing. When back up if the brakes are applied to noise goes away for the most part.
Sounds like the e-brake might be stuck or something along those lines, i dont feel any drag on the car when driving, so i dont think its the brakes sticking. Maybe an axel, wish you could hear it, sounds so terrible.

Same sound coming from the front AND the rear? Did they both start making noise at the same time?

now the front first, now the rear. buts its only one side on the front. Sounds like calipers sticking maybe, its not a constant screech, its pulsing, like its something un-even, like a disk.

I hope its just a rock. Is the shield easy to take off? I can only hear it in the back when backing up. its strange.
When the brakes are applied the noise goes away.

better pads and rotors can be bought for less than the stock set up.

i Know your joking but considering i just got out of a 4 1/2 almost 5 year relationship with the girl i was going to marry and then f`d up trying to get back together. I dont approve of your comment.
To answer your question i do not have a wife. I do how ever have most of my police stuff in the car, and a heavy as hell audio system in the trunk, and a couple misc. things.

Id say take the calipers off and possibly do a rebuild. The rebuild kits arent expensive i think mine wer ~$20 a caliper.

I've been getting a bunch of cars in with small pebbles caught between the rotor and backing plate. Wicked nasty loud noise.
