its an 86' ninja 600r

mod list as far as i can tell cause i've done none of it.
repainted black
smoked blinkers w/ a relocate
full v&h exhaust
stage 2 jets (needs the pilots redone wont cold start for crap)
intake port matching (needs to be polished looks rough)
one step tighter gearing
(i brought it back to stock this spring with a new chain and
sprocket set)
manual can chain adjuster
(pain in my *** it must be adjusted every like 500 miles and i need to take the carbs off to loosen the lock nut. and the bike needs to be running to adjust it see were im going)
center stand delete
coolant catch can removed and blocked

Stuff i have done to it
fixed the blinkers ( they now work)
cleaned carbs (many times)
replaced jet in cylinder 3 (some how it broke off no idea how)
replaced both temp sensors
brought fan wiring back to stock configurations removed switch
new clutch cable
new tires
new chain and sprocket
new clutch perch
welded gas tank (needs to be done again)
rebuilt starter with chevy brushes lots of solder and luck

thing left to do

weld/braze hole in exhaust
fix pinhole in tank
put new tires on
fix horn (its missing the spring and metal contact (ill steal them out of another horn button or build my own)
get new pilot jets that will supply more fuel at the low air velocity
( the bike will not idle below 1500 and starts realy hard in the morning)
rebuild front forks

not bad for a bike i picked for $600

For $600 that's pretty sweet! My first bike was an 85 kawi gpz550. I had soooooo much fun riding that thing. I went everywhere on it. I don't know what it is but 80's kawasaki's are one of my favorite styles of bikes.

Well it has died. the motor blew on I95 about 5 miles south of the Gardiner toll on Wed. night at around 9. most likely culprit is #3 main bearing. so the hunt is on for a new bike .
