lol no not near the airport. thats a sure fire cop magnet.
there is an abandoned military runway out in the middle of the woods, but its all broken tarmac not worth driving on.
winterport dragway is 1/8th mile track about 30 minutes from bangor.
other than that...not much... i know of a few good roads to play on.
there used to be what i called the "track" on the highway north of bangor..it was a rest area. but they closed that as well.
if you want dirt...you will have to wait until mud season is over and Stud mill road is open again.

oh man I'm a solo road rager.... yeah I am admitting to driving "quick" on the road on occasion but as mentioned in previous posts there is "NO CURE for stupid" so I try to keep it to a solo event thus preventing outside stimulation from generating mistake causing adrenaline... I also like to think my subie is pretty nice, I would hate to lead someone into a situation they or their car were not ready for...
and as far as off-road I tend to play in my local back kingdom ( find all the woods near Mexico Rec park on google maps) and here... Blow it up and look around, familiar?:D
