Hey guys, I've wanted to go to hookers for a while since I turned 21. Was wondering if we could get a bunch of people together to do a Friday night or Saturday afternoon meet. So this is to see who would want to go and which day would be preferred. From what I understand on the website Friday is 5-8pm $10 you get a pint glass to keep and its all the beer you can drink. Saturday is 12pm-5pm $5 and its a tour of the brewery tasting each brew they make with growlers available for $10. Maybe if others have gone before they can chime in with more info.

So I spoke with the guy at Hooker and he said that normally Friday is a very crowded event and they can only have 200 people at one time and normally a line starts forming where they can only let people in as other people leave by around 6pm. Saturday he said is a much better day to try and bring a group of people. As far as amount of samples offered he said there is no limit, but if they see someone just slamming down sample after sample it is frowned upon and they will take that persons glass away.

It's not for this weekend. Trying to figure out which day to go first. I'm unsure if Saturday is all you can drink I will call and try and get more info.

Edit: Talked with a guy at hooker and added the details to the op

I've been on Friday night, and you really need to get there by 5pm if you want to get in before the work crowds show up.

I drank so many beers I had to have my father-in-law drive me and my wife home. It was the best $10 ever.

If you're not into big crowds in a small stank brewery, than Saturday would probably be the better choice.

Fridays are open houses. Those occur every other Friday and tend to be very crowded. Saturdays are definitely a better day to go if you plan on going as a group. Growlers are $10 for the initial purchase (including your first fill) and then $7 each time after for a refill. They also will fill up growlers from any other brewery.

They frown upon abuse of the "all you can drink" policy. They're generally pretty laid back, so I've never seen anybody get cut off there.

For those afraid to drive afterwards, there's an IHOP, BD, and a McDonalds nearby where you can fill up on some carb-filled meals to help soak up the day's "fun juice".

I looked into renting the brewery out for a day, but that turned into one expensive ordeal, so I canned the thought unless there was a big enough demand. If you have any questions, I'm sure I could answer them just as good as any employee/volunteer at Hooker.

Alright so looks like this will be a Saturday. Now to choose which Saturday works best? March 27th, April 3rd or April 10th. :D
