I would not recommend alot of the "packages" out there. From my personal experience, Hawk HPS pads are junk, not noticeable better than stock, maybe worse! Defintely get:

SS lines of some kind
Good fluid (ATE Superblue or Motul RBF 600)
Pads (so many brands, I would prob go for Carbotech Bobcats for street/auto x use)
Rotors- no need to replace unless yours are worn down (unless you care about bling factor just get cheap blank faced ones, this is a wear and tear part as much as the pad is)

I myself am in need of new rotors and calipers. NHIS track days have destroyed my rotors and my calipers are in sorry shape. Anyone know of anyone wanting to get rid of a 4-pot setup? :)

What did you end up getting?

I would go with pactage 1 if they were the Plus kit. Added surface coverage and a around a 2" diameter addage to the rotor. Only thing is clearance for winter.

i just stayed stock. i dont need the upgrades now, as i'm only running stage 2. i was hoping to do my swap and the brakes, but i decided saving money to by a house would be a better idea.

Motul and new lines a must. I've run HPS pads on my last three cars and had exceptional results - package 6

DBA's are nice. I am going to need rotors sometime next summer, debating on what to get at the moment. Running my Raybestos STi replacement pads in the front. LOL I have autoxed them and use them for my DD obviously, and they are still holding up! Not much fade at all on an Autox track, but i wouldnt want to try them on the track! Cost me 45 bucks! I got axxis ultimate in the rears.

terry I picked up some blank rotors off ted(nhsilversti) for 65 or 70 each for the fronts and he runs them at high speed track days and they hold up with his abuse. I think he picked them up at napa.

Summit Racing makes a nice cheap drilled and slotted front rotor. I bought a pair a few months ago and love them. I used them with a perrin 4 pot kit with wilwood calipers and smart track pads. They cost $69/each. Here is a link:
