So since the other thread was actually an Autocross thread I decided to make a seperate Airshow thread.
The show is August 18th and 19th (Saturday and Sunday). It will be at Pease Tradeport/Air Base in Portsmouth NH.
I think Rob said the cost is $20 to get in unless you go with him or meet up with him so he can get you in cheaper or free. I'm sure Rob is correct about this however I always suggest bringing the entry fee cash just in case plans fall through. Things happen that are out of our control so rather then making Rob feel guilty if you get turned away because you didn't come prepared it would be a good idea to come with money.
I don't have all the details on the show itself but I've heard mention of walk-throughs for different air frames (both military and non-military aircraft), as well as F-15 demo, F-22 Flybys and much more. Feel free to post accurate details of this event.
As for meeting up, I will leave that for discussion between everyone here. I work Thursday and Friday nights and will have to sleep for a portion of Saturday morning in order to be functional. Not sure which day will be the better day to go, perhaps the cool stuff will be on both days. My plans will fall around what you all post and say. If everyone goes on Saturday and it's worth it for me to meet up with everyone there for the afternoon stuff then I will. If not then I might go Sunday (my "lady friend" as Nate puts it, mentioned she'd like to go).
So with out further rambles from me, discuss....

Who is the header...Blue Angels or Thunderbirds...or is this not one of their regular stops. I know those guys are expensive and fussy...hhmmmmph, pilots. If your list is all inclusive, I guess neither.

Indeed, on the webpage they have a link to the schedule, it appears that most everything with the exception of a couple items will be displayed on both days. Of course everything is always weather permitting.

I was thinking about parking at Lonza and walking.
Is the entrance gate right by the national guard building?

There is no Airshow like the annual EAA Oshkosh Fly In in Oshkosh, Winsconsin. Been there quite a few times....makes this one look like watching the rochester airport on a monday...

But WI is a bit farther drive than Portsmouth.
Wifey and I will likely be at this one on Sunday. Haven't been to an air show at Pease since the David Lee Roth was still in Van Halen.

Well I don't have much of an option. Working until 7am on Saturday and need to sleep at least a good 4 or 5 hours which puts me at about 12pm-1pm wake up.
However it really doesn't matter. I've seen the B-2 more times then I can remember. Perks of growing up with a father in the Air Force.
