I bought the car exactly 1 week ago.

I bought a Cobb Accessport V2 used for 460 shipped. I got it yesterday. I loaded up the Stage 1 93 octane tune. I must say there is a very large improvement over stock. This is a good thing but at the same time it brings forward the short comings of the GT. The suspension. You can feel the motor out driving the suspension.

This brings me to phase two of the build.

Not ordered yet. But soon is RalliTek Coils, Swaybars, and HD endlinks.
Along with this a kartboy short throw shifter and bushing kit will be installed.

I noticed a big difference also when I went stage 1 93 on 07 spec b. Short throw is good, I went with the sti sts and ralletek bushings. You should consider an Avo drop in for a little more sound. How many miles on your ride?

It has 26k miles on it. Still smells new.

Not really at the most it would be a downpipe and Cobb stage 2 map. I have the Chevelle to build for speed.

before you get the coils, get those damn RE-92A's off your car and burn them. That right there will net you a very noticeable difference.

I installed the Kartboy shifter and front and rear bushings. Shifting is really nice and precise now. The bushings were a pain in my ass to install.

Very nice car. BL's are very close to my heart. If I could afford one I'd totally pick one up.

I was originally looking for a RWD V8 car, but more I thought about it AWD just makes sense in New England. Plus I have always liked the way the 05+ LGT's look. 05's are getting pretty cheap.......hint hint:D

lol 05-09 GT's have very expensive insurance believe it or not. Even the 2.5i's are pricey in that respect.

....Not to mention I just bought an Audi a few weeks ago. :D

Maybe when I graduate college. heh heh

Some pictures. Now I just need wheels. The rallitek springs are a very mild drop. Just enough to be noticeable, but the best part is the car no longer dives and squats like it did with the stock springs. The bad thing is I can really feel how much the Potenza RE92's blow.

Im well past that on all my projects. I spent around 1500 before I paid my first payment. Had the AP tune in under a week.

Havent update in a while. Ive started collecting all my stage 2 parts. As well as a new rear swaybar. The rallitek sways were a big improvment over stock but the car still understeers alot so I picked up a Perrin 25mm rear sway with the perrin HD mounts for the rear to see if I can fix that. I will still be running the Rallitek 22mm front bar.

I have a Perrin Catted 1 peice Downpipe showing up also. This weekend I should round out the stage 2 when I pick up my Perrin catback. Im not sure If Ill use the perrin axle backs or not, they have some pretty big tips and Im not really a fan of the look. I may sell them and rock the stock axle backs for now.

Bought a Prosport Electrical Boost gauge and JCS Dual Gauge pod today. The Pod fits in the cubby above my radio. It keeps the factory "door" so it can be closed when I dont want to watch the gauge or when the car is parked for a stealth look. The gauge is an Amber/white gauge so it matches my factory dash lights and it does a full sweep of the needle on start up like my factory gauges also.

(not my car pictured, just showing where gauge will be)

Stage 2 is alot of fun. I ended up taking off the Perrin catback as I didnt like the fitment and look. I bought a magnaflow instead, fits much better. I also installed a perrin 25mm rear sway and HD sway mounts. Last but not least I finally found someone to trade trunks with me. my new wingless trunk is off a 2.5i.

I saw your Perrins up for sale on LGT.COM. They fit like crap huh? I put a couple of Perrin systems on and nothing lined up. The DP hits the firewall, the cans stick out different lengths, on and on.
Is the Magnaflow quieter that the Perrin?
