Not me. I just barely have enough time to make SCCNH events once a month. I would like to make an event at some point though. They definitely get down to business and don't pussy-foot around between heats.

$$ Naw man! Piece of cake. $$Get a car, $finish and get signed off at two schools, $finish two races with your novice permit, any position, and BAM!! $$$You get your regional competition license. This is for $CCA. There is also NASA and EMRA that does $road racing$ but I don't know how their process works. Ok, so maybe not that easy.:D I am sort of retired from $racing$ for now so now I spend most of my time either spectating or helping others on their quest to become a $super cool racer. First thing to do would be to join $CCA then take it from there. I mainly hang out at $$Lime Rock$$, have most of my friends at NHMS, and do my once a year race, to keep license, at $Watkins Glen. $hoot me a pm and we can get into details....and that goes for anyone else interested.
$$$$Can be done on a budget$$$ but will still require a bigger than normal size pocketbook but don't let that deter you. Minor details.:D
